NTJCAC Baseball Player of the Week (March 12-18)

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced its selection for Baseball Players of the Week for March 12-18.

The NTJCAC Players of the Week are Stefan Stahl of McLennan Community College and Cole Dillon of McLennan Community College.

A freshman lefthander from Richardson, Texas, Stahl was named the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week. He allowed just one hit and one walk with 9 strikeouts in 6 innings of work in an 8-0 run-rule victory over Weatherford. His win marked only his fifth appearance of the season.

A sophomore designated hitter from Rockwall, Texas, Dillon was the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week. He batted .417 for the week with six RBI. He returned to lineup on Wednesday for the start of conference play after missing eight games due to injury. He went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI and a walk in his first game back, a 5-1 win over Weatherford. In his second game, he went 1-for-3 with an RBI in 2-1 loss. In his third game back from the injured list, he went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in 2-1 loss. In his fourth game, he was 2-for-4 with a double, 2 RBI, a run scored, a walk and a stolen base in 8-0 win over Weatherford.
