Richland wins Men's Soccer National Championship

Richland College is bringing another National Championship trophy back to Texas after defeating Herkimer College 2-1 in the final game of the 2019 NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.

Richland finishes the year with a record of 18-0-1 while handing Herkimer (20-1-0) their first loss of the season.

Making the win more impressive was the fact that the tournament was played on Herkimer's home field at Wehrum Stadium in New York.

Richland started the tournament with a 4-0 win over Sussex County, followed by a 5-0 win over Genesee in the semifinals.
