NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week (March 5-11)

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced its selections for Softball Players of the Week for March 5-11.

The NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week are Kennan Nunamaker of Temple College and Shay Grace of Temple College.

A freshman third baseman from Taylor, Texas, Nunamaker was named the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week after turning in a solid showing last week for the Highlassies. Overall, she batted .529 with three doubles, two home runs and a season-high eight runs batted in. She also scored 10 runs.

A sophomore from Kona, Hawaii, Grace was the NTJCAC Pitcher of the week. She posted a 3-0 record in the week by allowing just three earned runs through 15 innings in the circle. She finished the week with 20 strikeouts. She also contributed offensively, hitting .556 with 10 runs batted in.
