Congratulations to the Ranger College Women's Golf Team taking home the bronze, finishing 3rd out of a field of 20 teams at the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship Tournament in Ormond Beach Florida, May 10-13, 2021 held at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club.

The young ladies persevered, playing through adverse weather conditions ranging from 91 degree temperatures with 67 percent humidity to drenching rain showers. Round 3 proved to be the most challenging due to lighting delays and being forced to divide the normal 18 hole, 4 1/2 hour round into two days playing at intervals of 9, 3, and 6 holes each with an early rise time at 4:30 am to prepare for the 6:30 am warm-up time.

The team made their mark early notching out a fourth place standing on the leaderboard after the first round.  They would gain ground the next day on round two moving up to third and would hold that spot for the remainder of the tournament, distancing themselves by 32 strokes from Tyler JC.
The first place and runner-up honors went to home based Seminole State College and Daytona State College respectively.
