DAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week (Oct. 16-22)

The Dallas Athletic Conference has announced its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week for Oct. 16-22.

The DAC Players of the Week are Aeriel Austin of Dallas College-Brookhaven and Marissa Narvaiz of Dallas College-Mountain View.

A freshman hitter, Austin starred on the offensive side of the ball for the Lady Bears last week and helped Brookhaven claim key wins over Richland College and Cedar Valley. In her seven sets, she recorded 31 kills and 29 digs with just five errors.

A sophomore defensive specialist, Narvaiz earned the defensive POW honors with a stellar effort. In her 10 sets last week, she racked up 66 digs (including 37 in a 3-2 loss to Mountain View on Oct. 17) and contributed 2 assists.
