NTJCAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week (Oct. 22-29)

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced its selection for Players of the Week for Oct. 22-29.

The NTJCAC Players of the week are Selanny Puente of Weatherford College and Brooke McHale of Weatherford College.

A 6-4 freshman middle blocker from the Dominican Republican, Puente had 21 kills and only two errors on 47 attempts, hitting .404 for the week. She also added 1 solo and 5 block assists, as well as 4 aces over 7 sets. As a middle blocker, Selanny averaged an astounding 4.4 points per set.

A 5-8 freshman outside hitter from Plano, Texas, McHale helped secure two wins and Weatherford's conference title by averaging an impressive 4.7 points per set over seven sets. With 23 kills in two matches, she hit .367, added 16 digs, two block assists, and seven service aces.
