Bresnu, Udkanmtiang claim Region V Golf Players of the Week honors

Adam Bresnu of Odessa College and Ausanee "View" Udkanmtiang of Odessa College were selected the Region V Golf Players of the Week.

A sophomore from Rabat, Morocco, Bresnu is the WJCAC Men's Golf Player of the Week. He won the TankLogix & Tall City Exploration Collegiate by shooting 9 under par through the 54-hole event. Won the tournament by three shots and was one of only three players in red figures for the tournament. He posted an even par 71 in Round 1, then shot a 3-under 68 in Round 2, and a tournament-low six-under 65 in the final round. Bresnu helped Odessa to a second-place team finish. Adam is currently the No. 1 ranked golfer in the entire NJCAA.

A freshman from Bangkok, Thailand, Udkanmtiang is the WJCAC Women's Golf Player of the Week. Udkanmtiang won the Tanklogix & Tall City Exploration Collegiate Individual Title. She won the event shooting 3-under par in the 36-hole event. She shot a 2-under 70 in Round 1 and a 1-under 71 in Round 2. View was the only player under par for the event. She helped lead Odessa to its second tournament victory of the spring.
