Weatherford College freshman pitcher Sarah Hanf has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
Lorena Gamez of Midland College and Katelynn Perez of Midland College have been selected as the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Softball Players of the Week.
Sarah Hanf of Weatherford College and Sadie Reid of Weatherford College were selected the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Softball Players of the Week.
The McLennan Softball squad climbed four spots to #1 in this week’s NJCAA Division I Rankings. The Highlanders boast an overall record of 40-5 and are 22-2 in conference play.
Not only did the Weatherford College surpass 30 overall wins this season, but freshman pitcher Sarah Hanf threw the first perfect game in program history.
