Polk, Davis claim NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week honors

Walker Polk of Grayson College and Chase Davis of Grayson College were selected the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Baseball Players of the Week.

A sophomore outfielder from Coppell, Texas, Polk was named the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week. He batted .471 during the week, finishing with 2 doubles, a home run and 5 RBI. He also drew 6 walks, recorded a pair of stolen bases and scored 8 runs.

A freshman lefthander from Montgomery, Texas, Davis was the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week. He recorded a win and a save during the week while working 5.1 hitless innings. He finished with 8 strikeouts and just one walk while holding opponents scoreless.
