Pair of Ranger players named to NJCAA All-Tournament team

Jorell Saterfield and Keisei Tominaga already own significant parts of the Ranger College men's basketball record book. On Saturday, they penciled their names in even deeper in RC lore.

Saterfield and Tominaga were selected to the 2021 all-tournament team by officials with the NJCAA Men's Division I National Championship Tournament. The two were among a handful of the top 2-year college athletes honored by tournament officials during a post-tournament awards ceremony.

Saterfield, a sophomore from Chicago, starred during Ranger's march to the semifinals. He pumped in 23 points in each of his first two outings, and finished the tournament with 77 total points. En route to leading RC to its second appearance in the tournament's Final Four, he averaged 19.2 points and 8 rebounds per contest.

Tominaga, like Saterfield, starred in Hutchinson. In his four games, the sophomore from Japan averaged 20.2 points per game, while knocking down 16 three-point shots. He also had 14 rebounds and 10 assists.
