Highlanders No. 8 in latest NJCAA poll

The McLennan Highlander golf squad is No. 8 in the first NJCAA Coaches poll of the spring.

Hutchinson (Kansas) is No. 1, followed by New Mexico at No. 2 and Western Texas at No. 3. Dodge City (Kansas) and Eastern Florida State are tied at No. 4.

McLennan, New Mexico and Western Texas all compete in the NJCAA District 2 along with Ranger at No. 6, Midland at No. 7, Odessa at No. 11 and Tyler at No. 18.

The Highlanders will compete in The Happening, hosted by Tyler, March 6-7 at The Campus Course at Texas A&M University.
