SPC men, NMJC women win indoor track National titles

The South Plains College men and New Mexico Junior College women won National Championships at the 2018 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships held in Lubbock.

The SPC men finished second in the 4x400 meter relay to give them the overall team title by 2 points over Barton County (KS). South Plains finished with 94 points, while Barton County was second with 92. Western Texas College was eighth (38).

For the women, NMJC ran away with the team title, scoring 120 points. South Plains was second with 90, and Western Texas was sixth with 49,.
