NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week (Feb. 26-March 4)

The NJCAC has announced its selection for Softball Players of the Week for Feb. 26 through March 4.

The NTJCAC Players of the Week are Teoni Lamb of Weatherford College of Amiah Galcatcher of Grayson College.

A sophomore from Kurrajong Heights, Australia, Lamb earned the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week honors after turning in a sensational effort last week. She went 2-0 for the Lady Coyotes last week, including throwing a no-hitter. Overall, she pitched 10 innings, allowing just three hits, while striking out 13.

A sophomore from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Galcatcher earned the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row. She followed up last week's six homer effort by pounding out four more long balls in the Lady Vikings' sweep of Vernon in their conference-opening doubleheader. For the week, she batted .778 with 11 RBI, six runs and six walks.
