NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 16-22)

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Softball Players of the Week are Eileigh Whyte of Hill College and Shay Grace of Temple College.

A sophomore from Round Rock, Texas, Whyte was the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week for April 16-22. During that span, she batted .714 for the Lady Rebels. A two-way star, she finished the week with four doubles, a homer, six runs scored and six RBI. She also contributed to a pair of HC wins as a pitcher, going 2-0 with 11 strikeouts in 12 innings in the circle.

A sophomore from Kona, Hawaii, Grace was tabbed the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week for April 16-22. She led the Lady Leopards to a pair of wins with a dominating performance last week. Overall, she went 2-0 while limiting opponents to just five hits and just one earned run in 14 innings. She posted 16 strikeouts with just two walks in four outings.
