Highlanders remain at top of NJCAA Rankings

The McLennan Highlanders, with an overall record of 42-0, are #1 in the NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings for the fifth consecutive week.

The top eight remained the same this week: McLennan, #1, 42-0; Northwest Florida State, #2, 37-3; Florida Southwestern State, #3, 34-4; Indian River State (Florida), #4, 31-4; Walters State (Tennessee), #5, 27-3; Temple (Texas), #6, 35-9; Grayson (Texas), #7, 26-7; and Paris (Texas), #8, 26-5.

Other Texas teams ranked: Galveston, up one spot to #11, 28-7; Trinity Valley, down one spot to #16, 30-10; and San Jacinto, down one spot to #20, 27-15. North Central is receiving votes.

#1 McLennan hosts #7 Grayson for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday at Bosque River Ballpark.
