McLennan moves up to No. 8 in NJCAA Rankings

McLennan Women's Basketball moved up two spots to No. 8 in the NJCAA Division I Rankings. McLennan is on a seven-game winning streak with an overall record of 22-5 and 11-2 in conference play.

Hutchinson (Kansas) remained at No. 1 with a perfect 27-0 record. Gulf State College (Florida) is No. 2 at 23-3 on the season, followed by Wabash Valley at No. 3 with a 21-2 record. Collin (Texas), 24-2, dropped two spots to No. 4 following last week's loss to McLennan. Shelton State (Alabama) remained at No. 5 with an overall record of 25-4.

Other Texas teams ranked: Odessa, down one spot to No 10, 24-3; Trinity Valley, remaining at No. 12, 20-5; and Temple, dropped two spots to No. 19, 23-3.

McLennan hosts Grayson for the final home game of the season Wednesday at 5 p.m.
