McLennan women #8 in final NJCAA poll

The McLennan women remained #8 in the final NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Rankings of the 2023-24 season. McLennan has an overall record of 24-5 heading to the final week of conference play.

Hutchinson remained at #1 with a 29-0 record. Wabash Valley (Illinois) and Gulf Coast State (Florida) are #2 and #3, respectively, with records of 24-4 and 26-2. Collin (Texas) stayed at #4 with a 26-2 record, and Northwest Florida State is #5 at 24-3.

Other Region V squads ranked: New Mexico, remaining at #9, 24-5; Odessa, remaining at #10, 26-3; and Temple, down four spots to #23, 23-4.

McLennan wraps up conference play Saturday, traveling to Terrell for a 2 p.m. game at Southwest Christian.
