WC’s Haas-Black finishes 7th in Bossier City 

Weatherford College golfer Catherine Haas-Black finished in seventh place out of 39 at the Hal Sutton Invitational on March 18 and 19 at The Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City, Louisiana. 

Haas-Black, an Arlington Heights High School graduate, carded four birdies in the two-round tournament.  

WC's Grade Burland finished in 26th place. Annie Piggott of Millsaps College (Mississippi) won the individual title.  

As a team, WC finished in seventh place. Tyler Junior College won the tournament.
