DAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week (Oct. 16-22)

The Dallas Athletic Conference has announced its selection for the Women's Soccer Players of the Week for Oct. 16-22.

The DAC Players of the Week are Kenya Reynolds of Dallas College-Brookhaven and Nevaeh Higgins of Dallas College-Brookhaven.

A defender and forward from The Colony, TX. Reynoldsscored her first collegiate hat trick for league-leading Brookhaven in a 9-0 win over Eastfield. She scored on all three of her shots and became the third Brookhaven player this season to register a hat trick.

A freshman midfielder from Jidlothian, Higgins earned the defensive POW honors for her performance in the Ladt Bears' 9-0 win over Eastfield.  In the win, she recorded her first 2 assists for Brookhaven. Nevaeh has been out most of the season due to injury, but having her back at a crucial period has been a massive boost for the Brookhaven defense. Not only is she solid defensively, but she's shown that she can help out the attack as well.
