Farias Named DAC Defensive Player of Week

Dallas College Brookhaven's Stephanie Farias was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

A sophomore defender from McKinney, Texas, Farias helped the No. 2-ranked Bears put up one shutout after giving up their first goal of the season to a DAC opponent in a 4-1 win at Dallas College North Lake. In the 5-0 shutout win at Dallas College Eastfield, Farias, who moonlights as a midfielder, also had three assists.

The shutout was the Bears' sixth this season.
