Robison Chosen USC National Player of Year

Dallas College Brookhaven's Kaley Robison was selected as the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Year.

Robison, a sophomore midfielder from Argyle, Texas, was a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III First Team All-American and USC First Team All-American. She was a First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference selection.

"Kaley has developed into one of the best players in our program's history," Brookhaven head coach Jimmy Elder said. "Her tenacity, aggressiveness and powerful playing style, and ability to play in all positions have been invaluable in our run to the national championship this year."

Robison scored eight goals, including three gamewinners, and had three assists for 19 points this season. She scored the gamewinning goal in the NJCAA Division III semifinal win over Mohawk Valley Community College. She also played a big role in the Bears' 11 shutouts this season.

A member of back-to-back NJCAA Division III National Championship teams at Brookhaven, Robison finished her two-year Bears career with 14 goals and 18 assists for 46 points in 34 games. She had four gamewinning goals.

Robison will be honored at the USC Convention in Anaheim, California, Jan. 13.
