NTJCAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week (Oct. 9-15)

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week for Oct. 9-15.

The NTJCAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week are Lyric Biggiers of Ranger College and Gracie Story of Cisco College.

A 5-9 freshman middle blocker/outside hitter from Temple, Texas, Lyric starred for The Lady Rangers last week. She finished with 27 kills and 75 attacks with just two errors in 10 sets. She also collected nine digs, a block and six block assists.

A 5-9 sophomore setter from Holliday, Texas, Story played well for the Lady Wranglers. She averaged 9.4 assists per set in a 4-set loss to Ranger and a 3-set win over NCTC. During the NCTC match, she eclipsed the 1,000 assist mark for the season. She also recorded 9 aces in the two matches. For the week, she had 2 kills, 14 attacks, 66 assists, 16 digs, a block and 3 block assists in seven sets.
