Lady Rebels claim Region V North crown

The Hill College Lady Rebels claimed the Region V North volleyball championship on Saturday with a victory over the Weatherford College Lady Coyotes in the finals of the Region V North Volleyball Tournament in Gainesville, Texas.

With the win, Hill College completed a 3-0 run through the tournament, which was played on the campus of North Central Texas College.

The Lady Rebels opened their title run on Friday afternoon with a win over Ranger College. From there, they downed NCTC in four sets to earn a berth in the championship gainst Weatherford College.

Weatherford College, the NTJCAC regular-season champion, finished second in the tournament standings.
