Wrangler Volleyball Punches Ticket to National Tournament

The Odessa College Wrangler volleyball team punched their ticket to the 2023 NJCAA D1 National Tournament on Saturday afternoon defeating New Mexico Junior College in five sets.

A day after falling to Weatherford College in the Region 5 Championship game, the Wranglers bounced back to beat NMJC to capture an automatic bid.

This will be the third time in program history that Odessa College has qualified for the National Tournament (2019 & 2021) and the first time under Head Coach Dayana Acevedo Rios.

The 2023 NJCAA D1 National Volleyball tournament will be played at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS November 15 through the 18th.

The bracket, at large selections, and tournament seeding will be released on Thursday, November 9th. Live-stream and other information will be released later.
