Bruscato Named Second Team All-American

Dallas College Brookhaven volleyball's Jordan Bruscato was named a Second Team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III.

A 5-foot-6 sophomore setter from Dallas, Bruscato was one of three setters on the second team, and one of six in NJCAA Division III to earn All-America honors.

She finished with 702 assists, 300 digs, 99 aces, 78 kills and 21 blocks this season. Bruscato had a career-high 50 assists in a five-set win over Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute to open the NJCAA Tournament. She had double-digit assists in all but one of the 32 matches as the Bears went 15-17. She topped 40 assists in four matches, and had 15 double-doubles in assists and digs. Her career high in digs was 16, which she reached twice this season. She had a career-high 10 aces in a sweep of Ottawa University.

Bruscato finished her two-year Bears career with 1,250 assists, 536 digs and 154 aces.
