Riley Named Second Team All-American

Dallas College North Lake volleyball's Love Riley was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Second Team All-American.

Riley, a sophomore outside hitter from Irving, Texas, had 392 kills, 449 digs, 81 blocks and 27 aces this season as North Lake advanced to the NJCAA Division III South District championship for the first time in program history. Riley's 392 kills led the Dallas Athletic Conference, and ranked seventh in the country.

She had a career-high 22 kills and 33 digs in a five-set win over Henderson State University's Junior Varsity on Sept. 30, and banged down 21 kills in the five-set victory over Dallas College Brookhaven to send the Blazers on to the district championship match.

Riley finished with double-digit kills in 19 matches, including her last three. She had double-digit digs in 20 matches, and reached 30 in two and 20 in six. Riley had 12 double-doubles in kills and digs, and finished with six blocks in two matches
